Our client is a leading main contractor with an exciting opportunity for a creative and forward thinking Health and Wellbeing Lead to join their major infrastructure team.
You will need have worked on major rail/ Civil infrastructure projects previously and have experience being part of a senior leadership team in a lead or director level role.
Your main focus working for our client will be delivering expertise and excellence in the area of health & wellbeing and occupational health to the project leadership team, supply chain partners, the Client and other relevant stakeholders.
Sound ability to communicate with key stakeholders adding value and offering/ applying suitable products or services
Initiate and, as appropriate, implement decisions and change.
Interpret stakeholder requirements, provide guidance and exert influence on HSW matters accordingly.
Create partnerships with operational leaders and other key stakeholders.
Able to set up, plan and undertake audits
Able to undertake incident reporting, investigation and associated event management – in a health and wellbeing
Have an exemplary understanding of construction health and wellbeing.
Have a good working understanding of the CDM Regulations and how such are understood and applied within the project in a health and wellbeing context – i.e. health through design.
Able to undertake performance monitoring and measurement.
Able to plan and deliver on objectives
Act as an exemplar in their own area of expertise, to keep the business and the Project abreast of new developments and apply professional standards to ensure best practice.
